Insomnia is usually the result of stress. If we have short term stress, we may have a couple of disturbed nights sleep. However, prolonged stress leads to insomnia which can impact your life in many ways.
Sometimes insomnia is triggered due to trauma or a specific stressful experience. Even though you are no longer in that situation, your sleeping patterns may still be disrupted.
I ensure there are no lifestyle factors which could be impacting your sleep and suggest some easy changes that you can make. For example, in today’s society, many of us are addicted to our phones. By setting in some simple rules around phone usage prior to bedtime, you can be preparing your body and mind much better for sleep.
Some reasons for insomnia include: stress, unresolved issues, anxiety, unhealthy pre-bedtime behaviours, unresolved trauma, insufficient downtime, noise, health issues and pain. Understanding the root cause makes it easier to create the solution.

We also work to resolve the underlying causes of the insomnia giving you every reason to return to more positive sleeping patterns and thereby waking up in the morning feeling refreshed and positive ready for the day ahead.
